July 15th is my brother’s girlfriend’s birthday, actually she’s my future sister-in-law now. Instead of buying a meaningless present just to have bought it I decided to bake her pre-birthday cupcakes. She really loves chocolate so I made her Magnolia Chocolate Cupcakes© with chocolate buttercream icing. They are both from the original Magnolia Bakery cookbook, which is a present from my brother. I didn’t have any cupcake papers so I improvised. I cut up circles from cooking paper and used them. I think they helped with the homemade image.
