Best Chicken Lunch Ever

Eating lunch has never been a strong habit in my family household. We’ve always been brunch or long breakfast eaters. So when I was still living with my parents, whenever I was hungry in the afternoon my mom would prepare me pan sautéed chicken with green bell peppers. We always had a quick salad with each meal and yogurt has been a companion for almost all of our mealtimes. Glasswort (Deniz Borulcesi)

If you have not heard of glasswwort or more scientifically Salicornia europaea before, then your seafood dishes are missing a very good friend. Glasswort is a very well-known ‘seaweed’ here in Turkey mostly coastal cities like Izmir. It is like spinach in texture but needs more effort than spinach to prepare.
