Chicken Parmigiana

Chicken parmesan 2


I’ve been wanting to make Chicken Parmigiana for a long time. So here it is.

Ingredients for marinate:

  • Buttermilk ( If you don’t have buttermilk put lemon juice in a cup of normal milk and wait for 5 minutes )
  • Oregano
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

Cut the chicken breast into halves and let them marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

Ingredients for coating:

  • Panco or Breadcrumbs
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Oregano
  • Pepper
Coat the chicken with Panco mixture and fry in a pan until both sides are a nice golden color and crispy.

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • Grated tomatoes
  • Garlic
  • Salt & pepper
  • Basil leaves

Make a quick tomato sauce with the mixture above(except for the basil) and cook a little while.

Place the tomatoes in a oven pan, lay the chicken above the sauce and put a pinch of Parmesan on each of the chicken. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Open the oven door, put some more Parmesan on the chicken and place basil leaves around the pan, bake 2-3 minutes more with the grill function on. Enjoy.
